How much do Takl providers make?
Takl providers are paid according to the nature of the job. Takl takes 10%-30% from each job, and the providers are paid 70%-90%. Takl based jobs payout depends on the type of work and job length. For jobs such as removing grass, Takl will charge based on square footage.
Takl charges $2.99 per month for all providers as an access fee to use the platform. The fee will be taken from the job or and if no jobs in that month, then charged directly to the provider. The Takl providers have to pay after three business days through stripe.
How Providers find and do jobs on Takl?
After the Takl approval, you will get full access to the provider area. The provider app allows you to select skills, view jobs, and adjust settings.
Browsing and applying for available jobs: In the My Chores tab, you can see the available jobs within a 60-mile radius. The list shows work description, job location, and details of the skills needed.
Takl offers two types of jobs: ‘Now jobs’ and ‘Regular scheduled jobs’ are the two types of Takl jobs. Now jobs are urgent jobs that customers want to be completed on the same day. Scheduled jobs can be completed on the date requested by the customer. Customers can schedule jobs for 30 days in advance.
Contacting the customer: Once you are accepted for the job, you can text and call the customer through the Takl app.
Arriving at the job: The address of the job will be available once you accept the job. And when you arrive at the job, you have to verify in the Takl app that the job was described correctly. If not, you can select a new job.
Canceling a job: Providers are able to cancel the job. But there are consequences if you cancel before 24 hours. You have less risk if: You cancel – a Now Job, two scheduled appointments in 30 days, or within 24 hours.
Ratings: Both providers and customers can rate after job completion. The ratings are visible on the job listing. If a provider rates less than 3 stars for a customer, then they will not get matched again.
