“PWI” is a unique marketplace which allows various vendors and partners to raise funds for charitable goals and causes.

Two types of vendors are allowed to operate on the platform. These vendors are allowed to offer tangible products, collecting direct donations and by initiating crowd-funding goals. Tangible products are sold on the marketplace and subject to standard e-commerce practices including shipping and taxes. All payments other than direct donations are processed by the administrator’s account and disseminated to vendors after a predetermined period, as determined on an individual basis.

The Pure Catskills Marketplace is a way to promote local farm, food and wood businesses to strengthen the local economy within the Catskills. Now in its eleventh year, Pure Catskills rallies together food and wood products from the six counties in the New York City Watershed, west of the Hudson River.

As a part of phase 3 customization, marketplace vendors are granted additional privileges in order to control and edit their own profile and the shipping options. Vendors can also assign a product to multiple categories, if desired. Lastly, an option to assign whether the product is available for custom shipping or pick from stores has also been added.
