iScripts ReserveLogic upgrade Manual

 

Prelude

Please read each step of the appropriate instructions before taking the first step. It is always a good idea to back up your data before making any updates. Before starting the upgrade process, make sure that you have a full backup of your database. After backing up your database, download the full contents of your current installation to a safe location on your local computer..

 

 

Upgrade procedure

 

Note: You will lose all customization, that you have already done.

 

a) Take backup of the existing all files and database and rename the entire folder (say reservelogic_old).

 

b) Download the new version of ReserveLogic and extract files (say reservelogic).

 

c) After replacing all your current files with the new ones, copy back the following files and folders from your backup

       

      - project/files/

      - project/config/settings.php

      - project/styles/images/logo.png

 

d) Run the URL http://www.yoursitename/project/upgrade3.0/ and follow the instructions shown on screen.

 

e) After successful run the upgrade3.0 just run the following file http://www.yoursitename/home/updateAliasName/ to update the seo friendly url's.

 

Once it is done press the 'Upgrade' button to start the upgrade procedure

  

When the upgrade procedure is completed successfully, cross check your existing files and database with the upgraded one
