iScripts ReserveLogic Hotel Booking Script

Prelude

Please read every step of the relevant instructions before undertaking the first step. It is always a good idea to backup your data before performing any sort of changes to your server/files. 

System Requirements

iScripts ReserveLogic runs equally on both Linux and Windows and on platforms that can support a web server and PHP language.

We recommend Apache webserver or any linux server, with php acceptable. Server have to meet the following requirements for the best performance.

a) PHP 5.2x or 5.3x

b) MySQL Enterprise or MySQL Community Server 5.0 or greater  

Other Requirements for Trouble-free Installation/Compatibility are: 

a) GD complied with your PHP Build - (Yes)

b) SendMail - (Yes)

c) PHP safe mode - (OFF)

d) CURL extension - (Yes)

 

If your server meets all the above conditions then iScripts ReserveLogic performs it's extreme level. 

Overview iScripts ReserveLogic

iScripts ReserveLogic is a hotel reservation script inbuilt with various features. This online booking software is flexible to use for independent properties. The reservation software contains various modes of operations. Single destination/single property, single destination/multiple property, and multiple destination/multiple property. We built this open-source booking script for making the online reservation process smooth and simple. Users can take advantage of inbuilt features such as search filters, Google maps, user ratings, and social sharing.

Installation 

Check the given below steps to install iScripts ReserveLogic in to a server. 

3.1) Unzip the entire contents from reservelogic.zip to a location. Once complete, use FTP client to upload the contents to a desired location. You can use CoreFTP or FTPzilla instead of FTP client. 

 

3.2) Set folder permission as 777 and Give 'Write' permission to the below folders. 

 

a) admin/galleryimages

b) admin/locationimages

c) admin/packageimages

d) banners

e) help

f) hotels

g) images

h) images/news

i) Pem

 

3.3) Set file permission as 777 and Provide 'Write' permission for the following files 

 

a) includes/settings.php

b) .htaccess

c) dest_header_display.xml

d) header_display.xml

e) wipe.xml

 

3.4) Run the link http://www.yoursitename.com/install in your browser and follow the given below instructions.

You can access iScripts ReserveLogic installation wizard at http://www.yoursitename.com, when you upload the files in the home directory (root).

It is possible to install the script in any directory under the root. For example if you have uploaded the zip file in a directory say http://www.yoursitename.com/reservelogic then you can access iScripts ReserveLogic at http://www.yoursitename.com/reservelogic

 

Now fill the installation process:

 

Database server host name:  'local host' will be the default name of databese server host in most cases. For a new database host name you can contact server provider.

 

License Key: You will get a license key at the time of purchase and use this key in the "License Key" field. The script will function only for the licensed domain. If you forget the key, you can check the mail you received with subject: 'iScripts.com software download link' at the time of purchase. You can collect the license key from your user panel at https://www.iscripts.com

 

Database name, Database Username & Database passwordCreate a new database from your Cpanel/database manager for iScripts ReserveLogic. Also create a database user and provide full access to the database created. 

 

Site Name: iScripts ReserveLogic automatically access  your domain name as site name. If you need a different name, you can edit and provide a new name.

 

Admin Email: Provide site owner email id.

 

Press the 'Install Now' button once you have completed the process. 

3.5) While clicking ‘install now’, iScripts ReserveLogic configures the database and script according to your specification. You will be able to view the following details once the installation is successful: 

 

Home URL: http://www.yoursitename.com

Admin URL: http://www.yoursitename.com/admin

Admin Credentials:

Username - ‘admin’

Password - ‘admin’

Note: You have to change the admin password as soon as you finish the installation procedure. 

 

3.6) Due to security reasons it is necessary to remove the 'Write' permission provided to the file 'settings.php'. You also have to delete the 'install' folder after completing the installation procedure.
