iScripts CyberMatch- Upgrade Manual

 

Prelude

Please read every step of the relevant instructions before undertaking the first step. It is always a good idea to backup your data before performing any sort of update. Before you begin the upgrade process, you must ensure that you have a full backup of your database. After you have backed up your database, ensure that you download the complete contents of your current installation to a safe location on your local machine.

 

Upgrade procedure

Take the backup of your existing CyberMatch 1.3 Files and Database.

Given below are the files or folder that are mandatory for the upgrade. Make sure to keep backup of the following:

images/

images/profiles/

images/success_stories/

images/spam/

help/

userfiles/

banners/

pem/

styles/

All files with .css extension under /styles 

/root/config.inc.php

pem/

Copy the files and folder from the newly purchased pack (ie, CyberMatch) to your existing site folder.

 

Overwrite all files and folders with the backed up file for the older version.

 

Set 'Write' permission to the following folders (Set folder permission as 777)

 

a) images/

b) images/profiles/

c) images/success_stories/

d) images/spam/

e) help/

f) userfiles/

g) banners/

h) pem/

i) styles/

j) All files with .css extension under /styles 

 

Run the following URL in your browser and follow the instructions.

http://www.yoursitename/upgrade1.3/

 

Once it is done press the 'Upgrade' button to start the upgrade procedure

  

When the upgrade procedure is completed successfully, cross check your existing files and database with the upgraded one
