iScripts AutoHoster Web Hosting Script

Prelude

Before taking the first step, please read each step of the guide. It is always recommended to back up your data before making any changes to the server/file.

System Requirements

iScripts AutoHoster is equally effective on Linux, 

We recommend Apache webserver or any linux server, with php acceptable. The server must meet the following requirements to achieve maximum performance.

a) PHP 5.2x or 5.3x

b) MySQL database server 4.1 or greater.

c) Enable Soap in PHP

d) Enable SSL in Apache 

Other Requirements for Trouble-free Installation/Compatibility are: 

a) SendMail - (Yes)

b) PHP safe mode - (OFF)

c) CURL extension - (Yes)

d) PHP -GD - (Yes)

Overview iScripts AutoHoster

iScripts AutoHoster is a web hosting software that includes features and functionalities to run an efficient hosting business similar to GoDaddy or Hostgator. The hosting management software has inbuilt features, its the best online web hosting software available for entrepreneurs and startups. Users can effortlessly register domains in real-time. As a site administrator you can choose either automated or manual site operations. 

The web hosting script includes different payment gateways, account management feature, affiliate program, knowledge base, automatic billing and invoicing. Users have the ability to sell additional value to services. 

Installation 

 

Given below steps are the procedure to perform for installing iScripts AutoHoster in your server.

 

3.1) Unzip the entire contents from autohoster.zip to a desired location. Once complete, upload the contents to a location in your server using an FTP client. If you don't have an FTP client then use CoreFTP or FTPzilla.

 

3.2) Set 'Write' permission to the following folders (Set folder permission as 777)

 

a) logo

b) support/custom

c) support/attachments

d) support/backup

e) support/downloads

f) support/csvfiles

g) support/admin/purgedtickets

h) support/admin/purgedtickets/attachments

i) websitebuilder

j) admin/invoice

k) admin/domaininvoice

l) admin/autoupdatetransfer

 

3.3) Provide 'Write' permission for the following files (Set file permission as 777)

 

a) includes/config.php 

3.4) Run the link http://www.yoursitename.com/install in your browser and follow the instructions below.

If you have uploaded the files in the root (home directory), you can access iScripts AutoHoster installation wizard at http://www.yoursitename.com. 

You can also install the script in any directory under the root. For example if you have uploaded the zip file in a directory say  http://www.yoursitename.com/AutoHoster then you can access iScripts AutoHoster at http://www.yoursitename.com/AutoHoster. 

 

Now fill in the installation form:

Database server host name: In most cases the database server host name will be 'localhost'. In case you need a name change contact the server provider and change the host name. 

License Key: Make sure you enter the same license key you received at the time of purchase. The key you received must enter in the "License Key" field. The script only work for the domain it is licensed. If you cannot recall the license it is also included in the email you received with subject: 'iScripts.com software download link'. Get the license key from the user panel of https://www.iscripts.com

Database name, Database Username & Database password: For iScripts AutoHoster you have to create a new database from your Cpanel/database manager. Also create a database user and provide full access to it. 

Site Name: iScripts AutoHoster automatically grabs your domain name as site name. You can change the name by editing or can fix the domain name as site name. 

Admin Email: Provide site owner email id.

 

The settings values are described as below:

 

01. ENOM Re-seller User Name: Re-seller account user name with ENOM.

02. ENOM Re-seller Password: Re-seller account password.

03. ENOM User IP: IP allowed for the Re-seller account with ENOM.

04. ENOM Mode : Test/Live mode of ENOM Re-seller account.

05. Administrator Name: Name of the administrator of the site.

06. Administrator Signature: Signature of the administrator of the site.

07. Administrator Password: Password of the administrator of the site.

08. Administrator Mail: Mail address of the administrator of the site.

09. Staff Mail: Mail address of the staff of the site.

10. Staff Password: Password of the staff of the site.

11. Company Name: Name of the company.

12. Name of the site: Name of the site.

13. Invoice From: Invoice from details, which are used with invoices.

14. Site Pay Mode: By default site is in "PAID" mode.

15. Email Header: Header of the email to be mailed from the site.

16. Email Footer: Footer of the email to be mailed from the site.

17. Site URL of Secure Server: URL of the secure version of this site. it gets displayed automatically and you can change this.

 

Press Install Now when you have completed the installation procedure

3.5) On clicking ‘install now’, iScripts AutoHoster configures the database and script according to your specification. After successful installation, you will be able to view the following:

 

Home URL: http://www.yoursitename.com

Admin URL: http://www.yoursitename.com/admin

Admin Credentials:

Username - ‘admin’

Password - ‘admin’

Note: Change the admin password after you complete the installation procedure. 

 

3.6) It is strongly recommended to remove the 'Write' permission provided to the file 'config/settings.php' for security reasons . Also make sure that you delete 'install' folder once installation is complete
