iScripts Software Changes and Customizations

by Ashley Zimmerman

Over the past few years, we have offered our products to thousands of customers. While our software packages usually include enough features and basic functions for most designers, site administrators and business owners, there are always some cases in which we need to modify or add to the software by developing customizations specific to one website idea or business plan. Here are some of the latest customizations we have completed for our clients:

iScripts MultiCart Customization –  IndiePassion.com

Our client, Tenita, created a web portal for independent artists called Indie Passion. Since the site offers independent products, instant downloads, previews, reviews, blogs, and music videos, we used our multi-vendor shopping cart, iScripts Multicart, as our foundation. We customized the software by upgrading the player with latest HTML5 player using wimpyplayer.com. Tenita’s site currently supports digital file formats such as .mp3, .mp4, .WebM and .Ogg. Find out how you can create your own multi-vendor site using iScripts Multicart.

iScripts PrintLogic Customization – Scubadge.com
Kai wanted a platform where both users (students) and organizations (school administration) could access, design and purchase badges on a website. The result was Scubadge, an internet-based store specializing in the sale of niche badges for both dive operators and divers. iScripts PrintLogic Customization – MySportzCard.com
Joseph’s major PrintLogic customizations included the ability to upload custom photos and insert texts into pre-defined areas of the pre-designed template. Smaller features include an image tool to check if the image resolution is less than the predefined limit. The text fields inputted into the pre-designed template will have a tooltip text that will be displayed. This text will disappear when users provide an input to the field. A strong mobile use case will be considered for the site as many users will be engaging the site with a tablet or other mobile device.
