I have tried absolutely everything to get the JIS loaded. I have recompiled PHP5 with the appropriate 'with' and 'enabled' commands for GD and image files. I have also tried different settings in my php.ini file, but I still cannot get t1lib nor JIS Japanese font mappings supported. I am using SLES 10 SVP 2 on a cluster of DL385 servers. I have Apache2 and PHP5 installed and working perfectly in all other respects. With the exception of JIS Japanese font mappings, all the other preliminary requirements have been met. My phpinfo shows GD loaded fine. There must be some setting, or something I have missed. I have tried to be forensic about this problem, but I seem to have failed. If anyone can help, I would be grateful as I do not want to dump EasyCreate without giving it at least a short test run. I can provide phpinfo dumps and dumps from other diagnostic scripts, but I know that these are incredibly large files and tedious to read, so only by request. Since getting EasyCreate I have not managed to get it past the initial checkpoint screen. I have to say that I am not really amazed at the plethora of technical information to support this product. But, I'm happy to wait and see. |
